Not one of the scheduled matches in the Snaith Evening League survived the rain on Thursday, June 7th with all eight falling foul of the persistent wet weather that continues to blight the 2012 season.
DIVISION ONE
Games at Fishlake v Hirst Courtney , Goole Town v Sykehouse , Hensall v Burn and Pollington v Askern Welfare were all called off quite early in the day.
DIVISION TWO
The same applied to the Second Division matches at Airmyn v Drax Village , Carlton Towers v Goole Firemen , Eggborough v Outcasts and Thorne Colliery v Howden Town
It is to be hoped that the weather improves by Monday ( June 11th ) when the two Cup competitions get under way with the following matches scheduled:
