OUTCASTS STILL DOGGED BY BAD WEATHER

SNAITH LEAGUE DIVISION ONE
Fishlake remain unbeaten after five matches and top the table after beating Sykehouse by seven wickets on Thursday , bowling them out for 47 thanks chiefly to Tom Daykin who took 4 for 7 then David Johnson hit a quickfire 31 to clinch a fourth win of the season that leaves them two points clear of Hirst Courtney , who are also undefeated following their eight wicket win over Pollington. Lawson hit 50 not out for Pollington and Slater 32 as they set a target of 129 for 7 but Tony Hinch scored 56 not out , aided by Dunn ( 45 ) and Collins ( 24 not out ) as Hirst eased to 132 for 2 in reply. The other two scheduled Division One games were postponed due to the wet conditions , at Askern who were due to meet Hensall and at Burn who had to cancel against Goole Town.

SNAITH LEAGUE DIVISION TWO
Leaders Eggborough suffered their first defeat of the season when going down by 40 runs at Airmyn for whom Steve Fielder hit 49 not out and Phil Sparks 26 in a total of 111 for 9 before Eggborough were restricted to 71 for 8 whilst Thorne Colliery climbed off the foot of the table by virtue of their four wicket win over Drax Village. Kel Brook scored 53 not out and Sam Jackson 26 not out as Drax made 85 for 3 only for Liam Coetze ( 20 ) Luke Cockburn ( 19 ) and Connor Martin ( 15 not out ) to guide Thorne to 86 for 6 , clinching their first win of the season. Goole Firemen v Outcasts and Howden Town v Carlton Towers were both postponed because of the weather.
