Yet more wet weather yesterday and this morning has resulted in a number of cancellations in the Lincolnshire League, including matches planned at Messingham, Nettleham, Outcasts, Hibaldstow, Louth, Keelby and Hartsholme. There could well more more 'five points each' games to follow.
Those players and umpires who do manage to get out into the middle this afternoon will again have to contend with cold conditions and a good dose of wind chill - very unpleasant indeed for cricket during so-called Flaming June. More like Flaming Dismal!
ONE MORE: Just heard from Mike Savage that Old Lincolnians' game today is also off.
