Tough games lie ahead for the two bottom teams in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League this Saturday.
Hartsholme, in last place, travel to former leaders Haxey who have dropped to fourth but are still in touch with the top three, while 11th placed Boston entertain current leaders Skegness who are riding high under the captaincy of Saeed Bariwala.
Following his eight wickets last week, which came hot on the heels of an innings of 169 in mid-May, Bariwala now boasts this season’s best individual performances for batting and bowling.
The second and third placed sides also face away games. Woodhall Spa travel to Grimsby who lost very narrowly last weekend to Market Deeping and will be keen to get back into the top half of the table.
But Woodhall know they have Bracebridge Heath breathing down their necks and will be going all out to protect their second position.
Bracebridge are away to Bourne who have climbed to sixth in the table, just behind Deeping who make the journey to seventh placed Louth. Bourne’s Conrad Louth now tops the runs table with 257, just ahead of Peter Houghton of Skegness, who has also passed the 250 mark.
Lindum, who recorded their first victory of the season last weekend, are at home to Sleaford who have dropped to 10th in the table and could ring the changes for their trip to St Giles Avenue.
Fixtures – 12.30 start
Boston v Skegness
Bourne v Bracebridge Heath
Grimsby v Woodhall Spa
Haxey v Hartsholme
Lindum v Sleaford
Louth v Market Deeping
