Carlton Towers will meet Isle of Axholme side Outcasts in the final of the Arthur Brant Trophy (organised by the Snaith Evening League) on July 16th, following victories on Monday over Howden Town and Airmyn respectively.
Howden were bowled out for 74 with Rhodes hitting 24, Fenton taking an impressive 5 for 10 from his four overs and Brown 3 for 26. Then Mark Holmes guided Carlton to 75 without loss as he scored 50 not out.
In the other Semi Final, Airmyn were bowled out for 69 by a youthful Outcasts side, for whom spin was the order of the day as Josh Bramhill took 4 for 4 and skipper Scott Buttrick 3 for 4. Scott played his part to the full by hitting 14 not out, along with Mark Fletcher who also scored 14, as the Priorymen reached their target with two overs to spare. A venue for the Final has yet to be announced.
