He spoke at the Lincs League dinner in March. Now Doctor Cricket (aka Dr Peter Davies, Professor of History at the University of Huddersfield) is involved at the launch of an interesting cricket archive.
A cricket contact in Hull mentioned this to me today, and when I got home there was an email from Ann Boulton confirming the facts.
Honoured guests are being invited to the Official Opening of the Yorkshire Cricket Collection at the University of Huddersfield Archives, Main Library, Queensgate Campus, on Monday, May 17.
The Yorkshire Cricket Collection is a new resource for cricket researchers and enthusiasts, and accompanies the establishment of the University of Huddersfield Cricket Research Centre – the first in the UK.
