GRIMSBY GO SECOND

By Ann Boulton

Only one game went ahead in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League as rain affected all matches from Louth southwards.
However, the game that was possible saw Grimsby move up to second in the table as they swept to a 10 wicket win over Lindum, who slipped from second to fourth.
Matthew Cocks and Paul Taylor saw off the Lindum batsmen for just 60 runs, Cocks taking five wickets and Taylor four and Grimsby made short work of the total without losing a wicket.

Result
Lindum 60 (Cocks 5-23), Grimsby 64-0.
