FEW SURVIVE BAD WEATHER

By Ann Boulton

Rain again decimated the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League programme with four games called off without a ball being bowled and the other two being abandoned after only a handful of overs.
The weather intervened with Sleaford on 34 for two off 14 overs at Hartsholme, Paul Sheppard and Martin Shillito taking the wickets. At Nettleham, Skegness had reached 16-1, Andy Carter taking the wicket, when rain stopped play.
