NORTH LINDSEY HIGHLIGHTS

DIVISION ONE
Caistor Cougars chased down a large total at Heslam Park to maintain their winning start to 2010 in the North Lindsey Sunday League where Scunthorpe 4ths posted a total of 208 for 6 thanks to 102 from Ramesh Chand and 60 from Ian Snowden before the Cougars replied with 209 for 4, Harry Boulton hitting 68 and James Wright 65 for the visitors and Cleethorpes 5ths are level with Caistor after they made it two out of two wins when beating Barton Town 3rds at Marsh Lane , Barton scoring 162 for 9 with Elliott Sampson hitting 46 before Hughes guided the Meggies to 165 for 6 when hitting 78 himself. Messingham 3rds first Sunday outing of 2010 saw them win a high scoring affair at Brumby Hall where App Frod 3rds scored 224 for 8 thanks chiefly to Kieran Watson who scored 71 and Matt Fowler 62 only for Nick White ( 80 ) and Cameron Fletcher ( 77 not out ) guided Messingham to a match winning 225 for 5

DIVISION TWO
Broughton 3rds youngster Nick Dobbs made a tantalising 99 not out when he helped his side overhaul Wheatley & Leverton's earlier target of 153 for 8 , Broughton running out winners by 8 wickets after Nick Cleaver had top scored for the Gainsborough outfit and Grimsby Town 3rds remain level top with Broughton after they ease4d to a 79 run victory at Brigg Town where Lee Freeman scored 27 and Steve Crossley 24 against Brigg who's skipper Tom Brock mpicked up 5 for 19 and youngster Jack Siddall batted well in their reply with 33 from an all oput total of 70 , Grimsby's best bowler being Caverneils who took 6 for 33. Alkborough 3rds posted a big total art Hirsts Priory where Jenkins scored 61 nad Craig Ross 60 in a score of 210 for 6 and the Isle side fell 17 runs short despite the very best efforts of young opener Oliver Coulman who hit his first ton in senior cricket when making 105 for the Priorymen and finally there were runs galore at Hibaldstow where Dale Coy hit 59 and Sam Longden 51 as the home side made a superb 234 for 3 only for overseas star Gunaesena to crash a spectacular 80 added to by Arron Moody ( 54 ) and Graham Skelton ( 52 ) as Haxey 3rds replied with 238 for 4 with just two balls to spare.

DIVISION THREE
Luddington had Darren Clark to thank for their victory over an improving Upton cum Kexby team as he hit 71 in their all out total of 139 , Andy Lawson making 24, whilst Hayden Green took 3 for 44 for Upton who replied with 122 all out Arron Curry picking up 4 for 31 for the Isle team and there was a first win of the season for Misterton 2nds when tjhey comfortably beat neighbouring Everton 3rds , Tim mSharpe top scoring with 82 not out in a total of 163 for 9 before Everton were bowled out for 76 , Darren Emmingham taking 4 for 31 for the victorious Misterton team.
