It was all romantic and just perfect...marriage on a distant shore for South Kelsey Cricket Club first team captain Lol Waghorn.
Lol, from North Kelsey, and his bride Emma Uzzell, from Lincoln, flew out to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and having spent the required three working days there got married on a pier on the beach.
Lol said: "The hotel organised us a reception on the wedding night. They booked us a table in their a la carte restaurant with Champagne and a wedding cake. We spent the rest of our fortnight relaxing in the hot sunshine enjoying the Jamaican cuisine and Red Stripe beer. We found out just before we went that Emma was expecting our first child, which is due just after the end of the season. Just perfect!" said Lol.
