TRIBUTE TO 'MR AVERAGES'

Unsung heroes get their moment in the spotlight

The following posts show not only the final averages for all five divisions of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League - ranked in the usual way, showing the top players in each division - but also a subsidiary set featuring team-by-team performances for all 50 sides in the competition. We are particularly delighted to publish the second set - again compiled by league statistician Andy Sharp - as they include the names of more run-of-the-mill players. These players are not stars in the sense of qualifying for the league averages in their respective divisions, but no team in the Lincs League would exist without its share of "Mr Averages".
