TOMORROW'S LINCS ECB PREMIER GAMES PREVIEWED BY ANN BOULTON

READERS LINCOLNSHIRE ECB PREMIER LEAGUE

Saturday, July 27

The lower half of the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League provides one of the most attractive fixtures of the weekend when Spalding, lying 10th, entertain Louth who are two places - but only six points - above them.
In ninth place are Bourne who take on bottom side Hartsholme at Abbey Lawn while Haxey, who are also in the relegation zone, face a tough game at home to third placed Bracebridge Heath.
Bracebridge bowlers Matt Carter and Matt Bradley currently top the wickets tally with 39 and 34 respectively while skipper Paul Cook last week topped 500 runs for the season.
However, it is Sleaford’s Tim McIntosh who is piling on the runs with 741 so far, just over 100 ahead of second placed Warren Nel of Spalding.
Sleaford lie second in the table and this week take on Lindum whose steady improvement in recent weeks has taken them to fifth.
At the top, Woodhall Spa will be looking to build on their 14 point lead over Sleaford when they travel to Grimsby for whom Steve Crossley is approaching the 500 run mark.
The previous game at Jubilee Park was abandoned but not before Joel Hamilton has claimed the prize scalp of Sri Lankan international Prasanna Jayawardena.
Market Deeping, fourth in the table but only eight points behind Bracebridge make the journey to sixth placed Skegness who trail their opponents by 13 points.

Fixtures (12.30 start)
Haxey v Bracebridge Heath
Bourne v Hartsholme
Spalding v Louth
Sleaford v Lindum
Skegness v Market Deeping
Grimsby v Woodhall Spa
