PREVIEW OF LINCS ECB PREMIER GAMES ON JULY 20

 READERS LINCOLNSHIRE ECB PREMIER LEAGUE

July 20 PREVIEW BY ANN BOULTON

Louth and Spalding, currently lying equal seventh and 10th in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League, face the toughest games of the weekend when they take on Sleaford and Bracebridge Heath respectively.
Sleaford swap one London Road for the other as they travel to Louth needing 20 points to stay in touch with leaders Woodhall Spa while Spalding head for Cross O’Cliff Court to face third placed Bracebridge Heath who are 17 behind Sleaford.
Spalding are just 14 points adrift of seventh place which Louth share with Grimsby.  Hartsholme is the destination for Grimsby and Jim Morgan’s side will be aware that their 12th placed hosts have pulled off a couple of shock results this season and will be fighting for every point.
One above Hartsholme, but with a 20 point advantage, are Haxey who make the long journey to fourth placed Market Deeping where they will look to find some batting form on what is generally a high scoring track.
Lindum are making steady progress up the table and now lie sixth while their visitors Bourne are 17 points behind in ninth but are beginning to put together some good results, making this a very attractive fixture.
Jubilee Park hosts Woodhall’s match against Skegness who are fifth but are only two points behind Market Deeping and 12 behind Bracebridge and could prove a challenge for the leaders on their good batting track.

Fixtures (12.30 start)
Bracebridge Heath v Spalding
Hartsholme v Grimsby
Lindum v Bourne
Louth v Sleaford
Market Deeping v Haxey
Woodhall Spa v Skegness
