Fishlake clinched the 2012 Division One title when they beat neighbourg Sykehouse by five wickets with just two deliveries to spare, chasing down the Sykehouse target of 85 all out whilst Goole Town moved into second spot following their seven wicket win over Burn who made 108 for 8 thanks to 42 from Adamson and 28 from Prescott, England picking up 3 for 13 for Town who replied with 109 for 3 Ashton Nottingham hitting 39 and Mahoney 28. Hirst Courtney were awarded the points from their scheduled game with Pollington who were unable to raise team and finally Hensall were unable to put some distance between themselves and the bottom two when they were beaten by deposed title holders Askern Welfare who successfully overhauled Hensall's total of 55 for 7 for the loss of four wickets.
DIVISION TWO
Things are really hotting up in the chase for the Second Division title as the top two met and now stand locked on 21 points each with just two games remaining. It was Airmyn who won the table-topping clash against Eggborough , posting a total of 105 for 5 before restricting their hosts to 76 for 3 but third-placed Outcasts were unable to take full advantage of the top two result when having to postpone their game with Goole Firemen due to the continued waterlogging of their Hirst Priory ground. Carlton Towers continued their good week , following up their Arthur Brant success with a seven wicket win over Howden whom they dismissed for 87 before easing to their target with three overs to spare and finally in Division Two Drax Village maintained their outside hopes of featuring in the promotion places when they narrowly beat Thorne Colliery by just two wickets , bowling Thone out for 71 before squeezing home thanks to 12 each from Coulbeck and Adamson , Appleby picking up 3 for 14 for Thorne.
