Meanwhile, down at Market Deeping where leaders Skegness were the visitors, the home side put their recent poor batting behind them to blast the day’s top score of 239 for six, Jamie Morgan hitting 93.  Tom Atallah then took five wickets to inflict the second defeat of the season on the seasiders who were bowled out for 186 and slipped down to second.
At the bottom of the table, Boston picked up their first victory of 2012 at home to Grimsby despite Harry Warwick’s 85 which took his side to 203 for eight.  Colin Cheer took five wickets for Boston and brother Jonny then hit the day’s highest individual score with an unbeaten 96 to take Boston to an eight wicket win, Cheer and Dan Hegarty (83) sharing a second wicket stand of 182.
