READERS LINCOLNSHIRE ECB PREMIER LEAGUE - BY ANN BOULTON
The top
half of the table plays the bottom half in this weekend’s Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League programme
with leaders Market Deeping taking on ninth placed Lindum and second placed
Grimsby and Woodhall Spa playing seventh placed Spalding and bottom side
Hartsholme respectively.
Of the top sides, Grimsby have perhaps the toughest game,
travelling down to Spalding Grammar School to take on the league’s newest side
who now have three victories under their belt and have gained something of a
reputation for giant-killing.
Deeping could also face a tough challenge from a resurgent
Lindum who know that victory could propel them into the top half of the table.
Hartsholme have had an unexpectedly poor start to their
campaign and are falling behind the teams above them so will be out to pick up
as many points as possible against a strong Woodhall side.
Elsewhere, Haxey, who are 11th but have a 25 point
advantage over the bottom side, travel to sixth placed Sleaford who in turn are
10 behind Skegness, the seasiders journeying to Bourne who are only two points
up on Haxey.
And in the final game, Louth, who are on equal terms with
Spalding, entertain fourth placed Bracebridge Heath, the team to watch
following their steady climb up the table.
Fixtures
