Lincolnshire County Cricket Limited is now inviting nominations for the outstanding service to the game awards 2011 – known as the OSCAs.
Rachael Dyer, Project Officer, says: “The Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards (OSCAs) are an opportunity for you to recognise the people within cricket who make an invaluable contribution to the game whether that be coaching, being part of a committee or making teas. There are seven categories, including a ‘Leagues and Boards’ category, which honours the work that cricket leagues carry out.
“The seven winners of Lincolnshire’s OSCAs will be announced at the county OSCAs event in September and will be invited to attend the national event at Lord’s on October 17th , which brings some of the best volunteers from around the country together to celebrate and recognise their good work.
“If you know of anyone who deserves a nomination within any of the categories then please take 10 minutes to fill out the nomination form and send it back to me.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to get someone the recognition that they deserve so please take the time to nominate and help us to spread the word about the OSCAs to make sure that the people who deserve it most are recognised.”
