Players, umpires and spectators heading for Heslam Park, Scunthorpe, on Saturday need to be aware that the usual access from Ashby Road will no longer be available.
Scunthorpe Town spokesman Del Crabb says: "There are several other events going on at Heslam Park on Saturday, in addition to the Lincolnshire League cricket match between Scunthorpe Town and Haxey. Due to the freezing winter conditions, the rugby season has been elongated and they have to play a fixture on the 7th May. In addition to this we have a large wedding which has been booked for quite some time.
"The knock-on effect of this is that the main car park will only be open to wedding guests, match officials and rugby coaches. All cricket players and spectators will have to enter the ground at the rear, via Old Brumby Street."
Del has extended his club's sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
