GARMESH BRINGS DARCY LEVER TO TOWN

Former Lincolnshire cricketer Garmesh Chand is bringing his local team Darcy Lever CC, from Bolton, into Lincolnshire next week for a tour.
Darcy Lever play in the Bolton Association and both 1st XI & 2nd XI are having a decent season. 1st XI are currently 4th in the league and the 2nd XI are currently top with only one league defeat to their name.
Everybody at Darcy Lever is looking forward to the tour which starts on Monday, 26th July and they have "a fairly strong outfit" for the games that they are playing. Roughly 40 members of the club will be attending the tour, which is a great turn-out.
He told Lincs Cricket Latest: "We will be taking the games very seriously as we are playing against some strong opposition and hopefully we will give everybody a good game and an enjoyable time. No doubt there will be plenty of ale consumed during this tour and we have our fingers crossed that the weather will be good for us that week."

Here are the games confirmed:

Monday Owmby CC - 6.15pm - 20/20
Tuesday Louth CC - 1.00pm - 45 overs
Wednesday Cleethorpes CC - 1.00pm - 50 overs
Thursday Marshalls CC (Gainsborough) - 1.30pm - 40 overs

Garmesh adds: "I would like to urge everybody to try and visit the games, as it would be great to see so many familiar faces."
