COUNTY CUP

Lincolnshire Under-14s play Cheshire Under-14s in the ECB Cup tomorrow at Heslam Park, Scunthorpe. If you are going along to watch, please note the tie will now begin at 11.30am and not noon, as originally notified.

    I umpired the game and only one ball shot along the ground - unfortunate for the batsman concerned, as it bowled him. No balls flew, either. Cheshire made over 230, one U14 getting a century and another very early reaching three-figures. I'm not passing judgement, just stating the facts. You are entitled to your opinion but I observed 98 overs from close range.
