SNAITH EVENING CRICKET LEAGUE ROUND-UP MAY 29

Hats off to Hensall and Pollington in Division Two of the Snaith & District Evening League who despite all the wet weather both managed to play their matches against Carlton Towers and Hirst Courtney respectively  on May 29th , although it was the visitors who won to stretch their lead at the top of the table to five points.
Scott Woffenden hit 40 and Rob Holah 30 as Carlton Towers reached 112 for 8 , Calvert picking up 3 for 16 for Hensall who were then bowled out for 69 predominantly by Dawson who took 3 for 7 for Carlton. 
Hirst Courtney set a target of 109 for 7 thanks in the main to Copeland who scored 36 and Golton who finished on 23 not out before Pollington were dismissed for 61 with Freeman making 26 not out and Morris taking 3 for 11.  
Eggborough  v  Sykehouse and Drax  v  Burn were both postponed because of waterlogged grounds.

SNAITH LEAGUE DIVISION ONE
All three Division One games were postponed because of the wet conditions , at leaders Fishlake who were due to play Thorne Colliery , Goole Town ( v Askern Welfare ) and Howden Town ( v Airmyn )

GOOLE TOWN  v  ASKERN WELFARE   -   Postponed due to wet conditions
