LINCS ECB PREMIER WINKWORTH CUP PREVIEW BY ANN BOULTON

READERS LINCOLNSHIRE ECB PREMIER LEAGUE

Next Monday sees the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League Winkworth Cup winners decided.
Four teams will contest the semi-finals of this Twenty/20 contest at Sleaford CC – Bourne v Skegness at 10.30am and Louth v Bracebridge Heath at 1.30pm with the final taking place at 4.30pm.
In Saturday’s league games, Bracebridge Heath take on league leaders Grimsby at Cross O’Cliff Court while Louth are away to bottom team Hartsholme.
Skegness make the long journey top Haxey but Bourne have a local derby away at Market Deeping who are currently well-placed in equal second while Bourne are well down in ninth.
Sleaford, who share second place, are just seven points ahead of opponents Woodhall Spa and this could be the game of the day if overseas players Prasanna Jayawardena and Tim MacIntosh get going on the good Jubilee Park pitch.
League newcomers Spalding now have two victories under their belt while their hosts Lindum are still without an outright win.

Fixtures (12.30 start)
Bracebridge Heath v Grimsby
Hartsholme v Louth
Lindum v Spalding
Haxey v Skegness
Market Deeping v Bourne
Woodhall Spa v Sleaford
