SNAITH LEAGUE DIVISION ONE
Airmyn produced their best performance of the season when earning their first win of the season by beating Outcasts by 38 runs. Will O'Donnell was their main man , hitting 33 in their total of 103 for 5 then he picked up 3 for 5 as Outcasts were bowled out for 65 , leaving them just one point clear of their opponents in the table. Leaders Fishlake had their lead reduced to just one point as their game was called off due to the continued wet conditions at Askern which allowed title holders Goole Town to climb closer following their nine wicket win at Thorne Colliery who set a target of 79 for 7 , Don Johnson hitting 38 not out only for Ben Earl to guide Goole home with 50 not out as they reached 80 for 4.
SNAITH LEAGUE DIVISION TWO
Carlton Towers continue to set the pace in Division Two and they maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable nine wicket win over Pollington who set a competative total of 118 for 4 thanks in the main to Slater who hit 66 not out and Smales ( 28 ) but Carlton batted well in reply , reaching 122 for 1 , Ellin top scoring with an unbeaten 71. Hirst Courtney are two points behind Carlton after having to call off their game with Hensall due to a waterlogged ground whilst Burn have climbed up to third after their excellent win over Eggborough. C Tyson hit 39 and Drew Pearson 38 as Eggborough made 131 for 4 but Burn battled hard to overhaul that score , Prescott scoring 58 and Lorryman 29 not out as they reached their target for the loss of four wickets themselves , Scott Tyson picking up 2 for 23 for Eggborough. Finally on June 5th Sykehouse capped off an excellent week by following up their earlier Cup win with another victory this time in the league against Drax Village , Dave Barrett scoring 56 for Sykehouse who made 118 for 7 before Drax were restricted to 92 for 6 , Worley making an inpressive 48 not out.
