OUTCASTS 2NDS BEAT NETTLEHAM 2NDS IN LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET LEAGUE DIVISION THREE

Outcasts 2nds climbed to the top of the Lincs League Division Three table when they beat Nettleham 2nds by six wickets at Hirst Priory with a blend of youth and experience. Nettleham batted first and scored 91 , James Pickering top scoring with 20 as home skipper Jason Whiteley took 3 for 32 , Doug Fann 2 for 28 and Anthony Fitzgerald 2 for 18 before yougsters Arron Hawksworth and Ben Watson each picked up a wicket apiece , thir first in senior cricket. Old hands Andrew Lawson and David Hobson both hit eight and fellow old sage Andy Torr four as Outcasts were reduced to 44 for 3 then Richard Wroot was the fourth man to go , bowled by Dave Hutchinson for a well constructed 31 but Russell Fletcher ( 20 not out ) and Mike Wilkinson ( 7 not out ) saw them home and in doing so lift them above Cleethorpes 3rds to the summit of the league ladder.
Outcasts first team head to Premier Dvision Cherry Willingham in the Cup on June 21st then entertain Horncastle on June 28th whilst the seconds head to South Kelsey looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the summer.
