NORMANBY PARK HOSTS LINDSEY DIV THREE CUP FINAL

Upton cum Kexby lifted the North Lindsey Cricket League Third Division Knock Out Cup when beating Luddington by seven wickets at Normanby Park on Sunday.
Luddington set a relatively low target of 104 for 9, Steve Proctor top scoring on 29 not out, as Tom Wray took 4 for 27 and John Mattiolli 3 for 13. Then Hayden Green hit 52 not out and Martyn Snell 25 not out to guide Upton to a comfortable victory.

DIVISION ONE
Broughton and Outcasts were playing for double points at Broughton but the game had to be abandoned following a heavy downpour, with Outcasts handily placed on 78 for one, Matthew Teal having hit a quickfire 54.

DIVISION TWO
Leaders Hibaldstow could have wrapped up the title had they beaten Alkborough but sadly for them they suffered a 78 runs defeat as Callum Render hit a splendid 100 in Alkborough's total of 201 for 9, Karl Nazareth taking 4 for 68.
Hibaldstow were bowled out for 123, Chris Nash top scoring with 37, while Jake Astle picked up 3 for 23 for Alkborough.
That win moves Alkborough to within a point of Hibaldstow at the top along with Messingham, who won a thriller against Cleethorpes.
The Meggies set a huge target of 251 for 7 with 70 from Holberry, Ian Sowerby taking 6 for 79.
Danny Rands then saw his side home with 69 in their reply of 253 for 9, Ben Peacock picking up a very creditable 5 for 77.
Bottom of the table Misterton kept their hopes of avoiding the drop alive when they beat Barton Town by seven wickets.
They bowled Barton out for 117 - Charlie Ward scoring 31 - with skipper Darren Emmingham taking 4 for 39 then hitting 52, along with Mark Boscolo who added 39, for the Nottinghamshire side.
