We travelled to Warwickshire and were beaten by 5 wickets.
Having won the toss and electing to bat, we lost 2 quick wickets which slowed us down considerably. Having rebuilt the innings we again lost wickets at vital times and only a late flurry got us up to 165, which always looked to be 35 short at minimum.
We started disappointingly in the field and let them get off to a flyer, we then dropped a difficult chance off the opener who went on to score 70 of the first 100 runs in quick time.
But, in true Lincolnshire fashion, we kept going and took 5 wickets in total before Warks knocked off the runs with 3 overs remaining.
All in all not our best day all round but we can be proud of our efforts over the season; we actually were ranked 7th in the country over the season.
On reflection, although disappointed on the day, we lost to a very good outfit who have won every game this season and are hot favourites to clinch the national title.
