The Lincolnshire County Cricket League is looking for players from within the competition (all divisions) to take part in its re-arranged Twenty20 Tournament that will now take place on Sunday, July 28 at Louth CC (10am start). Any players wishing to take part need to email Acting General Secretary and Fixture Secretary, Glen, Sands, at glensands13.aol.com by Saturday, July 20 at the latest.
League Chairman Bob Welton stresses that there's not a penny to pay by any of the players in this special celebration of the league's 50th anniversary - food and sponsored clothing will be provided.
A good number of players who were to have taken part in the tournament at Chichester Road, Cleethorpes, last month, when it was rained off, are unavailable for the second attempt. Hence the appeal for others to get in touch.
