Burn live to fight another day after they beat HirstCourtney by eleven runs , scoring 133 for 8 thanks in the main to Montgomery who hit 39 and Calvert who made 37 , Wilde picking up 3 for 11 for Hirst who were bowled out for 122 , Wilde scoring 28 and Craig Lawson 25 as man of the match Montgomery took an impressive 5 for 12. The season reaches the penultimate week on July 25th and there are several issues still to be decided.  In Division One leaders Goole Town enterain Askern Welfare at Westfields in what could be a tricky encounter whilst Fishlake head to Outcasts looking to take the title race to the final week. Burn take on Hensall needing a win to stave off relegation and finally there is a mid table clash between Airmyn and Hirst Courtney.
The big game in Division Two is a repeat of the Arthur Brant Trophy as Eggborough play Carlton Towers in a vital fixture whilst leaders Howden could clinch promotion if they can beat Sykehouse and results go their way elsewhere. Thorne Colliery travel to Drax in the knowledge that they too could go a long way to ensuring a top two spot should they pick up three points.
