LINCS LEAGUE T20 AT CLEETHORPES TO CELEBRATE 50TH ANNIVERSARY

BY BOB WELTON, CHAIRMAN - LINCS LEAGUE

Sunday, June 23 sees the Lincolnshire County Cricket League celebrate its 50th anniversary with a day of T20 cricket at Chichester Road (home of Cleethorpes CC). Wickets pitched 10am.
Four sides will be selected from players nominated by their clubs. Each side will be made up of players from all divisions, giving balanced and entertaining games for all spectators.
Many well-known names will be playing with, and against, the present crop of young up-and-coming players.
It must be stressed that this event is not a money-making exercise for the league and entry for all spectators is totally free.
The league will be running a raffle during the day with ALL proceeds going to charities.
Food will be available all day and the clubhouse will be open as usual.
All past and present players, as well as cricket followers, will be welcome on the day and each team will be wearing coloured shirts provided by some very generous sponsors.
PLEASE SUPPORT THIS EVENT AND GIVE A HELPING HAND TO CHARITABLE CAUSES. IT PROMISES TO BE AN EXCITING DAY'S CRICKET.
