What a difference a week makes. Heavily defeated in Division One of the Lincolnshire League at Appleby Frodingham 2nds seven days earlier, Horncastle bounced back to defeat the Scunthorpe side by ten wickets at home. Again, it was the side batting second that won. Horncastle restricted Appleby Frodingham to 109 before openers Harry Smith and skipper Nick Paige completed a ten-wicket victory in the 21st over.
