DIVISION ONE
Having put themselves right back into contention with Fishlake when beating them on July 15th, the last thing Luddington needed was the inclement weather that saw their home game v Goole Town cancelled due to wet conditions and the single point they gained means that Fishlake , who had a bye this week , need just one win from their two remaining games to clinch the title. Elsewhere, Sykehouse improved their hopes of avoiding the drop when they won a relegation battle at Burn who were restricted to 128 for 5 by Sykehouse before Gary Strephan guided the visitors home with 66 as they eased to 129 for 2, a result that leaves Burn four points adrift at the foot of the table and finally the scheduled game between Drax Village and Askern Welfare was postponed due to the wet conditions.
