Outcasts and Goole Town will
have to meet again on July 21st as their first attempt to win the Snaith League
Shield was ended by a torrential downpour that left the Pollington ground
flooded with Goole having made 153 for 7 from their 20 overs. Ashton Nottingham
had scored 63 and Oliver Ounsley 42 as Goole looked to be for a huge total
before the Isle side hit back to stem the flow of runs in the latter stages ,
then the heavens opened and the match was abandoned.
The second attempt will also be held at Pollington.
