LUDDINGTON WIN BROUGHTON EVENING CRICKET LEAGUE

Luddington clinched the 2014 Broughton Evening League on July 16th when they beat defending champions Appleby Frodingham at Brumby Hall to ensure their place at the top of the table.
Ludd batted first posting a total of 149 for 6 thanks to 52 from Spud Tait before he retired and  27 from Jamie Arrowsmith then Frod were restricted to 101 for 6 as Liam Grimes hit 33 not out and Corey Brown 21 , Tom Sharpe taking 2 for 6 and Arron Curry 2 for 14.
The trophy will be presented at the Lincolnshire League Presentation Evening at Hemswell Cliff in April 2015.
