William Wright (pictured) became the youngest player to hit a half-century in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League when he scored 56 for Lindum in a seven-run victory over Skegness.
Wright, who celebrated his 14th birthday at the end of January, was making his fifth appearance for Lindum 1st XI, having enjoyed some success with the second team, Lindum Ramblers, in the South Lincolnshire & Border League where his highest score is 79.
The youngster has come up through the Lindum and Lincolnshire junior rankings and currently plays for the county U15 side.
