There was just one game played in the North Lindsey League First Division yesterday and it saw a comfortable 10-wicket win for Cleethorpes 5ths at Chichester Road against depleted Barton Academy Vikings, who were bowled out for 47 by the Meggies.
Appleby-Frodingham 3rds did pick up three points when Messingham 3rds conceded their scheduled game at Brumby Hall due to George Marshall Cup commitments.

DIVISION TWO
Outcasts 3rds opened up a six points lead at the top of Division Two when they won the Isle of Axholme derby at Hirsts Priory against Haxey 3rds who scored 108 all out with the returning all-rounder Mark Metcalf making 55 not out having transferred back to the club from Isleonians, Graeme Fletcher taking 5 for 13 against the old enemy then Scott Buttrick hit 51 and David Hobson 37 not out as the Priorymen eased to 109 for 2. Elsewhere Broughton 3rds bowled Hibaldstow 2nds out for 156 thanks chiefly to Robbie Ward who took 4 for 30 before Nick Dobbs hit 51 and Neil Simpson 46 not out to guide their team to 159 for 5, Peter Taylor picking up 4 for 59 for Hibaldstow.

DIVISION THREE
Misterton 2nds maintained their spot at the top of the Third Division when winning by five wickets at Upton cum Kexby who made 134 when batting first , Shaun Metcalf scoring 40 as Darren Emmingham took 4 for 43 then he added 37 when his team eased to 137 for 5 , Richard Taylor making 75 not out to continue his current good form. Luddington climbed up to second in the table after beating Everton 3rds out on the Isle. They were struggling at 19 for 5 early in their innings only for Steve Proctor to make 21 along with 14 from Matthew Mellers and 13 from Danny Taylor as the tail wagged to take them up to 86 all out , Glen Cruickshank picking up an impressive 5 for 17 for the visitors who then were dismissed for only 26 with Graham Clark taking a career best 7 for 6 in what was a terrific bowling performance. Finally, Broughton 4ths gained a seven wicket win at Bottesford whom they bowled out for 77 , Paul Knapper hitting 22 and Dave Willey 17 for Bottesford who were blitzed by young Kyle Kitchen's outstanding 7 for 17 figures then Craig Hall hit 41 to see Broughton home and in doing so lifting them into joint third place.
