The league’s top run-scorer faces the leading wicket-taker as Hartsholme visit Grimsby in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League on Saturday. And at the Mayflower Ground, second plays fourth as Boston take on Market Deeping.
Grimsby are on equal points with Deeping while their Lincoln opponents are steadily climbing the table and know that one win could propel them into the top six. Batsman Warren Nel, with more than 600 runs to his name, could be the key to victory but spinner George Linde, who has taken 45 wickets so far, is proving a handful for the league’s batsmen.
Boston and Deeping should produce a high scoring game, with both sides having big hitting openers and it could be a similar story at Skegness where the visitors are Bracebridge Heath, both having rattled up some big totals this season.
Sleaford, also making progress up the league after a shaky start, travel to near neighbours Bourne who are two places but only 11 points ahead while at Jubilee Park, fifth placed Louth face Woodhall Spa, now with overseas player Fawad Alam in the side.
Back in Lincoln, Nettleham will be fighting hard for their first win of the season when they entertain 10th placed Lindum whose batting form has been erratic in recent weeks.
