ReplyDeleteI have sorted out the last two overseas players and we pay flights and put the guy up in a club members family home.
We as a club tried to get a rule change of no overseas players within the league voted in 2 years ago, 3 teams backed us.
So as the old adage goes " if you cant beat them, join them "
We dont run "chance to shine" to help fund our overseas player and the amount of positives these young lads have brought to the club are tremendous.
So like I said at the start, I would be very interested in hearing why we are "big spenders."

I am also interested in your reasons behind your comments, as Haxey (at least 2 local paid players), Barton (Overseas), Messingham (Overseas), Alford (Australian Not sure if now UK resident), Cherry Willingham (Notts Pro), Caistor (Overseas) and Cleethorpes able to pick a recent full Lincs County player. No slur on them Smudge so why the gripe on Barton...
