The bit to re-introduce the Broughton and District Evening League (or something similar under a different name) continues to be one of the main talking points in Scunthorpe area cricket circles at the moment.
Everywhere I go, people are asking how likely this plan is to succeed.
All we can say is: Get your club rep, or reps, down to Alkborough CC on Friday, September 30 (7.30pm) and let's see how things pan out.
Those without club portfolio who just want to go along out of interest will be very welcome. Glen Sands and myself, as the instigators, are extending an open invitation.
