Rachael Dyer, Project Officer with Lincolnshire Cricket, told Lincs Cricket Latest: “The emphasis of the OSCAs is very much on recognising those volunteers in the amateur game of cricket across the county, who give up so much of their time to the sport – the ‘unsung heroes’ without whom clubs and the game would not survive. The OSCAs this year will be even more special as it is the first time that we at Lincolnshire Cricket have made an evening out of it.
"The event is similar in style to the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards – there will be a casino based theme for the evening. The format will see guests being snapped by paparazzi on the red carpet as they make their way into the venue with a glass of bubbly and casino chips to use on the roulette wheel and poker table inside. A finger buffet will be served a little later so that guests can continue to mingle around the casino before the presentations of the awards take place."
