Sam and I were umpiring at Messingham yesterday when during discussions with Rob Elsome he showed us an interesting document from 1935.
It relates to a signed programme from the First Scunthorpe and District Cricket League annual dinner at the Crosby Hotel, in October of that year.
Unfortunately, he didn't have any stories to relate but I have scanned a copy
for your information. Sam has got the original programme.
