BECOME A CRICKET UMPIRE IN THE LINCOLN AREA

Lincoln & District Umpires Association is running an ECB ACO Level 1 course this winter.
This is a course for those wishing to start umpiring for their club or in local leagues. No previous knowledge is expected, but most who take part will have played or done some umpiring. It is also of interest to those who want to understand more about the game and its laws.
The course uses the ECB ACO course book to supplement numerous slides showing situations in cricket matches and there will be practical demonstrations where possible. Qualified instructors will run the course.
Venue: Lincoln University, Brayford Pool, Lincoln.  LN6 7TS
Dates: Four consecutive Saturdays 17th January - 7th February 2015 inclusive
Times: 10am to 4pm
Cost: £50.00 - includes course materials, Laws of Cricket, the ‘Bible’ of umpires - Tom Smith’s Cricket Umpiring and Scoring and 12 months membership to  Lincoln & District Umpires Association.
