Paul Goodhand, left, receiving his trophy as the North Lindsey League's umpire of the year 2010 from Mick Knapton, chairman of the Scunthorpe and District Cricket Umpires' Association. The presentation was made at the association's pre-season meeting at Brumby Hall Cricket Pavilion, Scunthorpe. Paul, who played for Alkborough and Barton, has now been promoted to officiate in the Lincs ECB Premier League for 2011. He is better known to many as Slogger, rather than Paul. The trophy was decided by marks awarded by North Lindsey teams last summer.
