CRACKING FINALE IN PROSPECT

Caistor Cougars beat Marshalls Sports by six wickets to put themselves within three points of current leaders Cleethorpes 5ths in North Lindsey League division one, Mark Whitelam hitting 60 for the Gainsborough side who made 155 all-out before Ryan McKitton guided the Cougars home with 59.
But Messingham 3rds are also just three points behind the leaders as well after they eased to a 140-run victory over Scunthorpe 4ths , Cameron Fletcher scoring a superb 127 as they posted a total of 246 for 4 , Lindley adding 58 only for Scunthorpe to slump to 106 all out in reply. Appleby Frodingham 3rds won a nail biter against Barton Town 3rds who were dismissed for 126, Mark Foster making 30 for the Humbersiders whilst Jack Forrester and Ben Bramley both picked up three wickets then Jack Dixon guided Frod home with a nervless 63 not out as they squeezed home by just one wicket. Sunday's game between Caistor and Messingham will see the winners tie for the title with Cleethorpes 5ths so it promises to be a cracking finale to the season.

Title winners Grimsby Town 3rds were able to celebrate being awarded with the trophy by beating Outcasts 3rds whom they restricted to 127 for 7, skipper Russell Fletcher hitting 62 not out and Jamie Belton 38 for the Isle side before Harry Warwick saw Grimsby to a 7 wicket victory as he made 70 not out.
