A seminar has been organised by Lincolnshire Cricket who have managed to get four people from the ECB to come and talk to clubs about improving facilities, identifying new funding opportunities, fund raising/fund saving ideas, building a club strategy and increasing the number of volunteers.
This is NOT just for Focus Clubs or Premier Leagues – it is for every club of every size in the county.
It takes place at Riseholme Conference Centre (the university buildings just off the A15 between Lincoln bypass and the Showground). The date is Thursday 3 February, 7.30pm – 9.30pm and there will be tea and coffee on arrival.
Guest speakers are David Leighton (ECB Club Development Manager), Richard Lightbown (ECB Regional Volunteer Manager), John Huband (ECB Regional Facilities and Funding manager) and Laura Newton (ECB Regional Women's Cricket Development manager). Key local business guests have also been invited.
