FEAST OF FUN, MOSTLY IN THE SUN

Cleethorpes CC won their own Twenty-20 tournament on Sunday with a six deep into the final over of the final against West Indies Cavaliers.
Doubtless pix and full details will wend their way from Chichester Road, once Graham Hackney, Paul Hewstone and their team of helpers have had the chance to get their breath back! Meanwhile, a few of mine will have to suffice.
You have to take your hat off to the Meggies for their organisation. The turnout was staggering for what was, after all, a club tournament and not a game packed with first class players.
Many families turned out, too, not just diehard cricket-lovers, although there were plenty of them all round the ground.
All-rounder Tinashe Panyangara, once of Holton-le-Clay and Zimbabwe, was in the Windies side.
I'm making a firm date in the diary for next season's event, and many of those who attended yesterday for a feast of fun in the sun (and a bit of rain late on) will be doing likewise.
