Local
cricket superstar and Ashes winner, Arran Brindle is bringing the Women’s Ashes
trophy to Louth Cricket Club’s home ground at London Road this Friday,
13th September from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
The
trophy which is travelling to the home clubs of all 16 players from the England
Women's Ashes squad throughout September, will give club members and the local
community the chance to celebrate the successful summer with Arran and to see
the Women's Ashes trophy.
Arran
Brindle said: "I'm delighted to be taking the Women's Ashes trophy back to Louth
CC as a great way of saying thank you to all the spectators, friends and family
that have supported and helped my cricketing career. I hope our success inspires
many more girls and women in to play cricket."

Coles, Women’s Development Officer at Louth Cricket Club, added: “It’s a real
privilege to have the Women’s Ashes trophy visiting Louth. Arran has achieved so
much in the sport and is a terrific role model for all the girls and women
playing here at Louth Cricket Club”
