CONCLUDING SNAITH AND DISTRICT LEAGUE ROUND-UP
By Glen Sands
Division One
New champs Fishlake and bottom club Burn agreed to share the points from their outstanding fixture as neither could enhance their standings in the table.

Hensall were crowned Champions of the Second Division following their victory over nearest rivals Hirst Courtney , Hensall posting a total of 91 for 9 before producing an excellent bowling display to skittle Hirst out for 44 whilst in the other two Second Division games Carlton Towers beat Sturgethorpe by 9 wickets thanks chiefly to Louis Ellin who hit 38 for Towers who successfully overhauled Sturgethorpe's 88 for 5 and Goole Firemen were awarded the points against Howden who failed to pick up on the originally ommited extra fixture and were therefore unaware of their 15th match of the season.

NF adds: Many thanks to hard-working Glen for updating Lincs Cricket Latest each week with developments in the Snaith League. Luddington might be the only Lincs team in the competition but we've been happy to publicise this league on the fringes of our usual sphere of influence. Hopefully many of the league's players have cottoned on to the fact they can get their league news quickly through visiting Lincs Cricket Latest.
