Things are building up to next week’s final of the Ibwest Cup, staged by the John Pettit Grimsby and District Cricket League.
Monday (August 2) saw the last quarter-final completed, Grimsby Pumas defeating One Medical. Tomorrow (Thursday) sees the semi-finals taking place.
At Augusta Street, the home of Grimsby Town Cricket Club, Grimsby Pumas will take on Catholic Sports. Meanwhile, at Stamford Club, Western Old Boys will meet Holton-le-Clay. Ties are timed to start at 6.15pm, although if both teams and umpires are agreeable 6pm would help with the light later in the evening. Spectators are welcome at both venues.
The final will be next Monday (August 9) at Chichester Road, home of Cleethorpes CC.
