Yesterday, while at Jersey Airport waiting to fly back to Humberside, I met up with Andy Prendergast - the former Winteringham and Bottesford all-rounder - who was also awaiting a homeward flight after a week in the Channel Islands.
It reminded me of a Friday morning in Majorca, some years ago, when I encountered Dave Holmes (East Halton) in the Palma Airport terminal.
Next day we were playing against each other!
