Nev Warrener passed away this week after a battle with cancer, his funeral is being held at Lincoln Crematorium at 9.50 on Wednesday 23rd March. It would be nice to see as many faces as possible who remember him as an umpire and friend to gather to celebrate his life. It’s a terrible loss for Lincolnshire cricket.
NF adds: We gather Nev was 66. A tribute already received describes him as a genuinely nice bloke who always umpired with a laugh and a smile, adding that he will be sadly missed on the circuit. Our condolences are extended to his family and friends.
